Jay D. Bogart, 34 of Manchester, MI and formerly of Lambertville, MI, died Saturday, June 4, 2016, at the University of Michigan Hospital. Born January 12, 1982, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Danial and LuAnn (LaPointe) Bogart. Jay attended Bedford Public Schools and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Manchester, MI. He enjoyed fishing, University of Michigan Football, Cleveland Browns and his dog, Kali.
Jay is survived by his loving daughter, Jocelyn Grace; parents, Danial and LuAnn Bogart; loving companion, Patricia Knickerbocker; grandparents, Dick and Dolly Bogart; brother, Matthew (Danielle Mahl) Bogart, and niece, Adika Lu Bogart. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert, Gwendolyn and Mary LaPointe.
Visitation will be from 3-7 pm, Monday, June 13, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI, where a celebration of his life will follow at 7:00 pm. Pastor Scott Isham, officiating. Memorials may be made to the Gift of Life. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
